Makita LS1013 Installation

Other Saws: Makita LS1011, Makita LS1013, Makita LS1212, Makita LS1214

The LS1011 uses a B-8 bracket in addition to the W-1 that is used on the other models because the bottom of the LS1011 is not a solid material. Locate the position for teh installation of the W-1 and laser as discribed below. Attach the B-8 bracket to the left side of the frame so that it forms a base to attach the W-1 and laser. See the last picture on this page.

The LS 1212 and 1214 uses a W-4 bracket

1. Remove the paper from the adhesive on the laser and attach the W-1 or W-4 bracket to the laser. 

2.Turn the saw 45 degrees to the left and pull it all the way forward.

3. The laser should be just behind the table backstop or about 2.75 inches from the front of the saw support. Mark this position for step 4.

4. Align and install per the miter installation instructions shipped with the unit.
