| The accuracy of the laser beam to the blade
is extremely important. The horizontal and angular adjustments allow
you to set the laser beam in exact alignment with your saw blade. |
 |
Become familiar with the
adjustments on the Laserkerf. and locate the proper position on your
saw to attach the laser (see the miter and radial saw pages). |
 |
Clamp a 4"wide block of wood in your saw and cut
a divot about 3" long. |
 |
The laser beam should be directly in line with the blade
as shown |
 |
Clean the surface that the laser will be attached to
with mineral sprits or similar cleaner. Allow to dry completely. Remove
backing from the adhesive and position the laser so that the beam
is over the divot. Press Laserkerf onto the saw. |
 |
Adjust the yellow ring to get the beam parallel to the
divot. |
 |
Adjust the horizontal adjustment so that the beam falls
completely into the divot. |
| |
|
|
| The Laserkerf is now aligned exactly with your saw blade. |
